How to stop bleeding hemorrhoids. part 1
If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!
Hemorrhoids are varicose veins, blood vessels that have become unusually swollen, that show up in the rectal area.Hemorrhoids range from the size of a raisin to the size of a grape. They can be somewhat itchy or downright painful, and sometimes they can even cause rectal bleeding, especially during a bowel movement.
So knowing what causes them in the first place can help you treat them and get rid of them permanently. The usual reaction is to run out to the drugstore and get something for them assuming your not too embarrassed to do so.
So here we go,what causes them in a lot of cases is increased pressure on the veins in the pelvic and rectal area. As pressure increases, blood pools in veins and causes them to swell, the then swollen veins stretch the surrounding tissue and hemorrhoids develop.
Other contributing factors are Pregnancy Overweight Sitting on the toilet too long and medical conditions. This list is by no means all the causes but some of the main causes. The last one I’m going to mention is something my mum always said to me,you are what you eat.
You have to cut out fatty fried foods including fast foods If your pregnant you shouldn’t be eating this stuff anyway it doesn’t do you or your baby any good. You should be eating one ounce of fiber per day for the rest of your life.
Such as things like dried beans, peas, and other legumes baked beans, kidney beans, split peas, dried limas, garbanzos, pinto beans and black beans, bran cereals, fresh or frozen green peas, dried fruit, figs, apricots and dates, raspberries, blackberries and strawberries, sweet corn, whether on the cob or cut off in kernels,whole-wheat and other whole-grain cereal products, rye, oats, buckwheat and stone-ground cornmeal are all high in fiber bread, pastas, pizzas, pancakes and muffins made with whole-grain flours,broccoli-very high in fiber!Baked potato with the skin, green snap beans, pole beans, and broad beans, plums, pears, and apples, plums, pears, and apples, spinach, beet greens, kale, collards, swiss chard and turnip greens, nuts, cherries, bananas, carrots and coconut.
You should be drinking 2.6-3.6 pints of water per day and a little more in warmer climates hope you are now beginning to see that your best treatment starts off within the body itself. These methods which you have just read about will stand you in good stead your whole life, not until the tube of… runs out.
Okay moving on the dreaded word exercise and yes for pregnant mums to be you are included twice a day go for a 30 minute walk, you could even include that within your shopping routine.

To Be Continued in Part 2
Sitz bath
A Sitz bath originated in Europe a long time ago,the name comes from a German word “sitzen” which means “to sit” in English. Nowadays, sitz baths are used as a form of pain relief and local cleansing for people who suffer hemorrhoids.
Do not use HOT water as this will have exactly the opposite effect of what you want. Sitz bath is a form of bathing where the bottom and hips are immersed in warm or cold water for a period of time, 15 – 20 minutes is ideal.
Sitz baths are best for cleansing the area while cool sitz baths help to ease swelling and can even help with constipation. A simple trick is to add salt, or baking soda to the water and allow yourself to soak in the water, this trick works to clean the affected area as well as relieving pain.
Don’t add soap to the water as this can be irritating if you have any type of anal infection or irritation, afterwards dry the affected area with a soft towel.

Constipation
Constipation is one of the problems associated with hemorrhoids, due to the unusual amount of straining this is a contributing factor to hemorrhoids.so I thought I would cover the common causes of constipation and 3 different natural product that will rid you of it without costing you, an arm and a leg.
First of all, Constipation is defined as having a bowel movement fewer than three times per week. Your stools are usually hard, dry small in size. You are also likely to find it painful to have a bowel movement and often experience straining, bloating, and the sensation of a full bowel.
The main cause of constipation can be found in a person’s diet. Fiber is essential to digestive health as well as drinking enough water or fluids and by that I mean between 2.6-3.7 pints per day and in warmer climes a little more.
We don’t often think that constipation is a common side effect of many medications. Diuretics and anti-depressants often cause constipation in patients. So if you are on medication and get constipated to ask your doctor to prescribe something else.
The first natural product I would like to cover is RAMSONS latin name Allium ursinum its common name is Wild Garlic, Broad leaved Garlic or Wood Garlic. It is out of the scope of this article to describe the plant itself.
The leaves when dry loose their medicinal properties, they are used fresh. You can chop the leaves up fine and put them on buttered bread,or put the uncooked leaves in your soup as seasoning.Young leaves are best gathered before the time of flowering. If you have a sensitive stomach pour warm milk over the finely chopped leaves let it soak for 2 to 3 hours and then sip this liquid.
The Second one is the WALNUT latin name Juglans regia common names are Jupiters nut and common Walnut. The leaves are gathered in June and a tea is made with them like this.Pour half a pint of boiling water over a heaped teaspoon of finely cut leaves let it infuse for 5-minute filters the leaves out and drinks your tea.
Third natural product is Figs and Prunes to soak them overnight in cold water, warm them up before eating them for breakfast,in addition to these method take 3 tablespoons of Linseed with a little water during every single meal and your digestion will return to normal.

What is the difference between a Hemorrhoid and an Anal Fissure?
What is the difference between a Hemorrhoid and an Anal Fissure?
This is one of the questions I was asked.
An anal fissure is a common and painful condition appearing as a small, tear near the external anal opening. An anal fissure is most common right on the midline of the anus, following the natural cracks in the area, as this part of the anal wall is relatively unsupported by either muscle or tendons
Please be aware when a fissure occurs on another part or your rear other than the midline this could be signs of other problems like, leukemia, tuberculosis, herpes, ysphilis, gonorrhea, cancer, chlamydia, chancroid or Crohn’s disease. So a doctors visit is a must.
Anal fissures can occur spontaneously or as a result of difficult or explosive bowel movements. While anal fissures are almost always benign, they are usually tender and painful, especially during bowel evacuation. The reason for this is there are an abundance of nerves in this area.
Symptoms of an anal fissure are bright red blood on underwear, in toilet water, or on toilet paper, and severe sharp pain in the area when any kind of pressure is applied.A fissure is a cut in the body, but they do not generally have the distinctively lumpy feel of a hemorrhoid, mostly an anal fissure is a tear in the anus, while a Hemorrhoid is a lump in the anus.
Hemorrhoids are itching, painful, or bleeding masses of swollen tissues and varicose veins located in the anus and rectum. So some of the conditions are similar to anal fissures but if you look here http://hubpages.com/hub/picturesofthrombosedhemorrhoids they are easier to see.
